NOTICE OF ELECTION
STATE REPUBLICAN AND DEMOCRATIC PRIMARY
OVERTON COUNTY GENERAL
THURSDAY, AUGUST 4, 2022

Will be held in all voting precincts of Overton County.

Offices to be elected in the Overton County General Election are as follows:

Circuit Court Judge Part I – 13th District                           Circuit Court Clerk

Circuit Court Judge Part II – 13th District                          County Clerk

Chancellor – 13th District                                                     Sheriff

Criminal Court Judge Part I – 13th District                        County Trustee

Criminal Court Judge Part II – 13th District                       Register of Deeds

District Attorney General – 13th District                           School Board – all districts-

Public Defender – 13th District                                                1 from each district

General Sessions Judge

County Executive

County Commission – all districts-

3 from each district

These offices will have a primary election on May 3, 2022.

A State of Tennessee Republican and Democratic Primary Election will also be held August 4, 2022 for the following offices:

Governor

United States House of Representatives 6th District

Tennessee House District 41

State Executive Committeeman 12th District

State Executive Committeewoman 12th District

The qualifying deadline for these offices is April 7, 2022 at NOON. Qualifying petitions may be picked up at the Overton County Election Commission Office, located at 312 W Broad Street, Suite 2, Livingston, TN 38570. Office hours are Monday – Friday 8:00 A.M. – 4:30 P.M. For more information call 931-823-5985.
